I bow to Hanuman, who is the abode of immeasurable strength, whose body shines like a golden mountain, who is the fire to consume the forest of demons, who is the foremost among the wise, the repository of all virtues, the leader of the Vanaras, and the beloved devotee of Lord Rama.

I take refuge in Hanuman, who is swift as the mind, as strong as the wind, the master of the senses, the most intelligent among the wise, the son of the wind-god, the leader of the Vanaras, and the messenger of Lord Rama.
